The Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program (CVIP) is a BC government safety inspection program for commercial vehicles. Any commercial vehicle operating in BC is required to have a valid CVIP inspection certificate -- renewed annually for most vehicles and every 6 months for passenger vehicles over 10 seats.
