A failed pressure test doesn't have to mean a separate call to a separate shop. Mazdock tests it, and if something needs fixing, the same crew handles the repair.
Volunteer and paid-on-call halls don't always have the hours to run these tests in-house, and a lot of departments end up outsourcing the certification rather than pulling firefighters off the floor to do it.
Mazdock already runs Red Seal mechanics and a DIF-certified bay in Agassiz. Pump and ladder testing is the same standard of documentation, just for apparatus instead of commercial trucks.
