Terms of service sections
Mazdock Mechanical Ltd. ("Mazdock," "we," "us," or "our") provides commercial and
heavy-duty mechanical services from our shop in Agassiz, BC and through our mobile
service trucks across the Fraser Valley. These terms cover what you can expect from
us and what we expect from you when you use this site or book a service.
01
Acceptance of terms
By using this website, calling to book a service, or having Mazdock Mechanical
perform any work on your vehicle or equipment, you agree to these terms of service.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please contact us before booking
so we can sort it out.
02
Services provided
Mazdock Mechanical provides the following services:
- CVIP inspections (Designated Inspection Facility)
- 24hr mobile mechanical service
- Mobile A/C repair
- Welding
- Computer diagnostics
- Engine repair and parts
- Fleet pressure washing
These services are built around commercial and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment,
from half-ton pickups up to excavators. Mazdock Mechanical is not set up as a
passenger-car or consumer-vehicle shop, and we reserve the right to decline work
that falls outside this scope.
03
Estimates and pricing
Any price we give you before work starts is an estimate, not a fixed quote. Once
your vehicle or equipment is actually on the hoist or in front of a mechanic, the
real scope of work can turn out to be different from what a phone description or a
visual check suggested.
If the work needed goes beyond the original estimate, we will contact you before
proceeding with anything additional. How long a given estimate stays valid for is
[DARREL/FRED TO CONFIRM].
04
Payment terms
Payment is due for services rendered by Mazdock Mechanical. The accepted payment
methods, whether a deposit is required before work begins, whether payment is due on
completion, and whether net terms are available for commercial fleet accounts are
[DARREL/FRED TO CONFIRM].
Any late payment fees or interest charged on overdue accounts are
[DARREL/FRED TO CONFIRM].
05
Vehicles and equipment left on premises
We take reasonable care of any vehicle or equipment left with us for service.
Beyond what our insurance covers, vehicles and equipment are left on our premises at
the owner's own risk.
The specific storage fee and the length of time before a fee applies to a vehicle or
piece of equipment left unclaimed after service is complete are
[DARREL/FRED TO CONFIRM].
06
Workmanship and parts
Parts used in your repair are sourced through our commercial supplier, CBS Parts in
Chilliwack, along with other suppliers as needed for the job. We stand behind the
work we do.
The specific warranty period and terms that apply to labour and to parts are
[DARREL/FRED TO CONFIRM].
07
Cancellations and scheduling
We ask for reasonable notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a booked
appointment, whether that is a shop appointment or a scheduled mobile call. This
helps us keep the schedule open for other trucks and equipment waiting on service.
Whether a cancellation or no-show fee applies, and what notice window avoids it, is
[DARREL/FRED TO CONFIRM].
08
CVIP inspections specifically
Mazdock Mechanical is a real Designated Inspection Facility. A passed CVIP inspection
reflects the condition of your vehicle or equipment at the time of the inspection
only. It is not a guarantee against future mechanical issues, wear, or damage that
occurs after the inspection is complete.
09
Limitation of liability
Mazdock Mechanical performs all work with reasonable care and in line with standard
industry practice. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our
control, including parts availability, weather, or road conditions affecting mobile
service.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with any service is
limited to the cost of the service provided. Whether a specific dollar cap applies
beyond this is [DARREL/FRED TO CONFIRM].
10
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any dispute
arising from these terms or from services provided by Mazdock Mechanical will be
resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
11
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms of service from time to time to reflect changes in how we
do business or in applicable law. Any update will be posted on this page with a
revised "last updated" date above. Continuing to use this site or book services with
us after an update means you accept the revised terms.
